Privacy Policy

Holdfast is built privacy-first. The app works fully offline, needs no account, and does not collect, transmit, sell, or rent your personal data. Your training stays on your device.

1. Information we do not collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, location, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics. Holdfast contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs and makes no network requests to our servers — because we do not run any.

2. Data stored on your device

Your tables, settings, session history, streaks, and personal bests are stored locally on your device by the app. This information never leaves your device through Holdfast. Deleting the app removes this data.

3. Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you grant permission, Holdfast can write data such as mindful minutes and read or write workout and heart-rate data through Apple HealthKit. This data is managed by Apple Health on your device under your control — we never receive, see, or transmit it. You can review or revoke Health permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app. Holdfast does not use HealthKit data for advertising or share it with third parties.

4. Purchases

Holdfast’s optional Premium features are sold through Apple’s App Store using Apple’s in-app purchase system. Payments and billing are handled entirely by Apple — we never receive your payment card or billing details. Purchases are subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.

5. Diagnostics

If you have opted in to sharing diagnostics and usage data with app developers in your iOS settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized crash reports. This is controlled by Apple and your device settings, and contains no information that identifies you. We do not operate our own crash or analytics service.

6. Children

Holdfast is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Breath-hold training is intended for adults.

7. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version on this page. Material changes will be reflected in an app update where appropriate.
